January is almost over and I'm just now getting to this blog to give you the latest updates! Better late than never, right??
OK - Indies and Oldies stuff - The January 25th show (Jan. 26th in UK/Europe) is a special show for the birthday of my life-long friend, Ellen. If you've been in the chat room you might know her as "El Tootsie!" Also on that show, as promised, "Music From An Aristocrat!" Find out all about this totally wacky, fun show - Tune In! Join us in chat!
MORE BIRTHDAY SHOWS COM-ING UP! In addition to the January one for Ellen, in February there will be one for Lady PondHawk (Jorie Gracen) on the 22nd (her real birthday!) and one on the 29th for Studio Engineer Havana Brown Kitty-Boy Seamus!
FUN FUN FUN FUN!! Don't miss them - and please join us in the chatroom!
THE 2015 BIRTHDAY SHOW FOR KITTY-BOY SEAMUS BROKE A RECORD FOR MOST LISTENERS - SO LET'S DO THAT AGAIN! SPREAD THE WORD AND PLEASE TUNE IN! MANY THANKS!
Also, "Groovy Giveaways" will start again in February, so stay tuned! You could win CD's, t-shirts, really cool guitar picks - all kinds of groovy stuff! Due to Customs and Postage, prizes can be mailed only to US mailing addresses, sorry. Also, Bumps Radio Personnel and their family members are not eligible to compete and/or win prizes.
Now for the Bumps Radio Ballroom stuff! Sorry about the server being down for the January 20th show (Jan. 21st in UK/Europe). As of this writing I do not have an answer as to why or how long it will be down but am hoping that by the time I publish this blog everything will be alright!
VINNIE & JANICE ZUMMO have a live gig in New York City on Saturday, March 12 at 4:00 PM at The Metropolitan Room in Manhattan. It's a real treat to see and hear these two play and sing great Jazz! Here's the link with all the information: http://metropolitanroom.com/event.cfm?id=222915
DO YOURSELF A SOLID AND DIG THIS GIG! THANK YOU!
GREAT NEWS for Indie Artist Steve Charles, whose music I play fairly often on the Bumps Radio Ballroom Show! (My name for him is "The Voice Of The Decade!") If you are in England, you can go see Steve as one of The Wack Pack - a take-off on the famous Hollywood "Rat Pack" of the 1950's and 1960's! Steve "is Frank Sinatra" and does a fabulous job of it! Just type in "The Wack Pack, England" into your computer browser's search field to find where they are appearing! Congratulations to Steve Charles! Well Done, My Friend, and Very Well-Deserved! DON'T MISS THIS SHOW!
That's it for now, Cats, Kittens, Roosters, and Chickens! If you like what you hear, please tell your friends! Bumps Radio welcomes all listeners so everyone can enjoy the great music and chat we offer 24/7. . .Till we meet again. . .Bye Bye!
